CLEARING THE ACCESS ROUTE

Work has now began on clearing the vegetation along the lane connecting the Cornfield with the public road.

The group made good use of the fallen tree by using the cut timber to create a bespoke bench/work station.

On 11 November 2014 the group planted an oak tree to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. It is hoped to add a plaque at a later date.

STORM DAMAGE

  During the recent bad weather a large oak tree fell blocking the path and damaging the perimeter fence.  The incident was reported to the Council via the One Stop Shop who passed the information on to the Council Highways Department.
