STORM DAMAGE
During the recent bad weather a large oak tree fell blocking the path and damaging the perimeter fence. The incident was reported to the Council via the One Stop Shop who passed the information on to the Council Highways Department.
After 14 days there had been no contact from the Council or the MOD whose property the oak tree is on. As the fallen tree posed a problem and possible danger to the public who walk in the field, a former Forestry worker was employed by the group to remove the obstruction.
